Who we are

SA Roofing is a roofing contractor based on Cabra Road in Dublin 7, at 85 Cabra Road, D07 H564. For more than 7 years we have been repairing, replacing and maintaining roofs and guttering for homeowners, landlords and businesses, across Dublin and within a radius of roughly 50 km. Our work covers roof repairs, 24/7 emergency roof repairs, felt and torch-on flat roofs, uPVC guttering and gutter cleaning, and uPVC fascia and soffits, on pitched, slate, tiled and flat roofs.

We are fully insured, we supply and fit all the materials we use, and we give a free, no-obligation quote on every project.

How we work

Every job starts with a conversation about the problem and, in nearly all cases, an inspection. We look at the whole roof rather than only the spot where the damage shows, because the cause of a leak is often somewhere else entirely. We then explain what we found and what we recommend, and you get a quote for the work. If you are applying for a council grant, that written quote can go in with your application, and our guide to roof repair grants in Ireland explains which schemes cover roof work.

If we uncover something unexpected once the work is under way, such as rotten timber under old felt or behind a fascia board, we stop and show you before doing anything extra. Nothing is added to the job without your agreement. When the work is finished we go over it with you and clean up after ourselves.

What we care about

These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every job, large or small.

Good workmanship

Most roof failures come down to details such as a badly dressed flashing, a gutter set without enough fall, or felt that stops short of the gutter. We take the time to get those details right, because they are what decide whether a repair lasts.

Clear advice

We explain problems in plain language, with photos where it helps, and we will tell you if a repair is the sensible option rather than a replacement. If something is not urgent, we will say so.

Honest quotes

Our quotes are based on what we find on your roof, and we explain what is included. If the scope changes, we discuss it with you first.

Tidy sites

Roofing work produces broken slates, old felt and debris. We protect what we can while we work and clear up when we finish, so you are not left picking bits of slate out of the flowerbeds.

Where we work

We work right across Dublin from our base in Cabra, Dublin 7, from Phibsborough, Glasnevin, Finglas and Dublin 15 on the north side to Tallaght, Rathfarnham, Dundrum, Terenure, Stillorgan, Dún Laoghaire, Lucan and Clondalkin in the south. We also travel to parts of Kildare and Wicklow within roughly 50 km. See our areas we serve page for details, or our full list of roofing services.
